Lately, I have been thinking a lot about family and how my relatives have directly and indirectly influenced the path I have taken in life. I wish I could thank my grandfather for everything he taught me. Most of the lessons I learned from my grandfather were passed from him to my mother, and then to me. My grandfather left an incredible legacy. Since his passing, I have learned a great deal more about his generosity, his dedication to the U.S. military, and the admiration and love he felt for my grandmother.
